This band called "Five For Fighting" (strange name) has some songs that makes a person think about their own life. That is what life is really all about and how a person has used the different stages of life to get all they can out of life (or maybe they haven't). That is the reflection in this bands songs, reflecting on life and what a person has done in life. And/or what a person has NOT done in life. But, do not dispare if you are one of these people who thinks "I have done nothing with my life". I bet that is B.S. if you really sit down and think about it. If you feel that convicted and strongly about it, THEN start DONG SOMETHING WITH THE REST OF YOU LIFE.
Anyway in their Song "The Riddle", The singer asks an old man in 1995 "What is the sense in Life " meaning "What is Life all about". The singer kind of lost his perspective on Life. The old man before he dies asks a Question. That is a Riddle. But, before he asks the Question, he says "Son, why do you sing that Dillion tune or some song about the Eclipse of the Moon. This gets the singer to think "what does he do best" The old man says "HERE'S A RIDDLE FOR YEA. FIND THE ANSWER. THERE IS A REASON FOR THE WORLD. YOU & I"
Then his Singer's son says the same Riddle: Hey Dad, "HERE'S A RIDDLE FOR YEA. FIND THE ANSWER. THERE IS A REASON FOR THE WORLD. YOU & I". Then the Dad says THERE IS A REASON FOR THE WORLD: ""WHO AM I""! What this means is we are still growing as individuals in this Life of ours. And when you get right down to it, Life the song says for all of us who put LOVE IN ACTIONS; ""I LOVE YOU FREELY"" , talking about our Families.
Although he never mentions Jesus Christ in the song. It is ONLY KNOWING/ASKING JESUS CHRIST INTO OUR LIVES (JOHN 5:24) THAT WE ARE ABLE TO ""REALLY LOVE PEOPLE and OUR FAMILIES because people are hard to love some times. It takes the help of God sometime to truly love them (REAL LOVE)(WHAT IS BEST FOR THEM)!

Here is another song by the band that will get you to think. The song is: 100 Years. This song goes into the different stages of a persons life. Need I say more? It really gets you to think about your life because most people do not live to see 100. It is an awesome song when you stop and think about it. TIME DOES GO BY QUICKLY!!
